Position: Lead Handyman

Location: Indianapolis & Surrounding Counties

Job Type: Full-Time​

This is a full time position, seeking a TALENTED person hoping to do EXTRAORDINARY things in customers’ homes every day. You will be expected to perform home maintenance tasks and punch lists, both large and small. We complete everything from bathroom remodels to small item punch lists around the house. If you are self-starter and motivated with the right skill set, this is the place for you.​​​

 

PRIMARY JOBS:

• Review and perform jobs as detailed by Owner in a timely and efficient manner.

• Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Keep track of tools and maintain vehicle.

• Use the Jobber app for timekeeping and work orders. 

• Engage in weekly meetings and bring a willingness to be coached to grow in job skills.

PAY

• $20 – $35 / Hour 

  • Monday – Friday work schedule

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A love of serving others.

• Skills for typical household repairs, including: exterior trim and wood rot repair, carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, deck repairs and rebuilds, basement remodels, kitchen and bathroom remodels, tiling, walls and floors, minor plumbing and electrical work.

• Own basic hand tools or willingness to purchase as needed.

• Reports to the Owner and is responsible for providing the best experience possible for clients.

• Has a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license. 

• Clean and professional appearance; willing and able to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

• Smartphone and ability to use mobile technology for work flows.

• Ability to pass a background check.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.

• Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment.

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and excel in customer relations and time management.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
